Very cool. Thanks for digging this up. Do you or anyone remember "Dischange"? I bought a cassette of them from somewhere in the 90's and thought they raged. Seems nobody's heard of them, at least in the states.

The closest I can get to thrash is a couple Anthrax songs They had more appeal that crossed over when they weren't pretending to be crossover "Spreading The Disease" and "Among The Living" are cornerstone albums to the world of thrash, but they seemed to fall off quickly. Even "State Of Euporia" has diminished with time. Maybe one had to have a 15 year old state of mind to fully appreciate them.

More in the realm of Noise/Sludge, my new favoritest song is from the band USA/Mexico featuring King from Surfers and Craig from & Shine. The pacing tweaks at about 3:20. Makes me feel like 15 again. "Possum Trot" Soundcloud linkAnyone near Austin, TX can see these guys playing a fest along with Iggy Pop/Cannibal Corpse/Ministry and others in early November.

It's intensely fun and I can't play "Armed and Dangerous" without singing along like a . It's part of that era of the early-mid 80s before any kind of real money had come into thrash metal and it was still this raw form of post-NWOBHM metal in America that was raw and primitive and savage as .
