Over the years I've seen Meshuggah play with various lineups. They're a very versatile band. I've seen the classic five piece, a four piece with one of the guitarists also doing lead vocals, and a four piece with the lead guitarist playing bass AND doing his all his solos on it (that was quite impressive).

Don’t know where this fits, but was happy to find someone uploaded the show despite the terrible audio. Danzig still had a terrific bunch of players working with him during this period and they were still riding high off the debut album from a year or so prior. For fans of that first album.

I saw him on that tour! With Murphy's Law! Not my ticket stub but notice they spelled Anvil wrong, and they listed the bands in the wrong order.

Sounds like this was more “hard rock” with Anvil and Raven on the bill. I don’t remember what Lifeline sounded like, though I’d seen them a few times. This club was doing the pay to play thing at the time, so often openers would have little in common with other bands on the bill (or headliners).

Danzig wasn't "punk" anymore and Murphy's Law is a hard band to classify but they don't sound like a punk band. We laughed at Anvil and when we started chanting "Alvin" the guy says "hey c'mon, we don't call you guys Hart fart Conneti Cuunt do we?" Only time I ever saw Danzig.

I was reluctant to post this at first, but it’s been a real earworm for me. A few months old, but a cool song regardless of how it plays out long term for the people who opine professionally on this stuff. Heck yeah.
