How does "crazy" keep getting passed on all these years after his passing? His vision and passion did a lot of good for a scene that was just coming into it's own though.

he did indeed.Crazy was a polite term.Just seems to me he got power drunk or something...it was almost like he got mean spirited.

I've found that hardcore song! It's "Ya Still A Paper Gangster" by Blood For Blood.
Unfortunately my memory isn't what it used to be and the words I could recall (badly) were from a diatribe before the music starts. That's why I couldn't find them online as they weren't included in the lyrics.

It took a while I doubt I'd heard of them if it wasn't for an old friend who listened to some pretty low-key bands.

The REO Speedwagon reference made me laugh. Yes! It's probably that bit which is why I remember it as being funny. It wasn't quite as funny as I'd remembered it, however.

Nothing seems quite as funny as you get older. Take the great Benny Hill for example. "Please don't blame my doggy, it's not his fault at all, for someone left a wet umbrella standing in the hall". At 11 years old we'd have rolled on the floor in hysterics and committed the joke to memory. Now, not so much.
