I thought that paper goods manufacturing generally included bleaching and heat, so they can't be that bad to eat from? Some ink transfer maybe, but if crayons and Play-Doh aren't poisonous I'd hardly worry about trace amounts of ink.

There must still be decent newspapers somewhere?

Wow. That's been twelve years already? Another senseless murder. Lennon was murdered thirty six years ago today.

There have been numerous tragic rock star deaths over the years, but have any had more impact on fans and the general public than Lennon? I'm not trying to place a value on say, Jerry Garcia against GG Allin as a life is a life, but in popular culture what unexpected deaths have resonated most among fans?
I think probably only Elvis, followed by Lennon.
1. Elvis 2. John Lennon 3. ?

Well,Tim was crazy...RIP..profane I find is full of fascist antifascists...do as I believe or else.. Was Tim crazy? I never met the guy. I guess I'm bugged about all the folks MRR kicked to the curb over the years and the booking policies at Gilman that would exclude bands like Surfers or Municipal Waste for being "mainstream" or on a major label, but gladly welcome Green Day or Offspring. The banning of advertisements of certain bands from the mag was always hard to stomach in the same way. The mag itself was hypocritical when they adopted a barcode so they could be distro'd in major chains like Tower, Virgin, Borders, etc.
