Does it taste like grilled cheese and tomato soup? The tomato flavor overpowers the cheese flavor a bit but yeah, it does taste pretty close. It is missing that buttery flavor you get from grilling those sandwiches. Ah. Then I'll just dip them in melted butter.. No I won't. Actually not sure if they're even shipping that our way. I've never seen it.

I didn't cook it, but I had Mac & Cheese with Salisbury steak.

Last night I had a 12oz rib eye steak served a perfect medium well. It was delicious. It came with chips and mushrooms which I finished off with ease. Following that I had half of my wife's 10oz burger patty (because she'd filled up on salad) and half of my daughter's cod (because it was too big). This morning I had a full English breakfast (including the baked beans).

They're brand new, I think they only started selling them last week.

For lunch I plan to have grilled cheese sandwiches dipped in tomato soup... Throw in some Ritz crackers and I'm buying.

For lunch I plan to have grilled cheese sandwiches dipped in tomato soup... I love those flavors, but I've cut down on canned soups to reduce my sodium. Now I add sliced tomatoes to the sandwich along with a pinch or two of oregano before grilling.

Now I add sliced tomatoes to the sandwich along with a pinch or two of oregano before grilling. The combination was never a tradition anywhere in my family, so I wasn't introduced to it until my first wife. It doesn't really do anything for me, and I really don't care for tomato soup.

I wouldn't normally eat that either. Does dipping chip butties in leftover gravy count?

Gotta have some Ritz with the tomato soup! I was always an oyster cracker kid. I don't think I've ever put Ritz in soup.

Salty, buttery I do have chicken noodle, so I'll give that a try next time around. I keep Ritz on hand to make little snack/hors d'oeuvres, and for fried zucchini, mushrooms, etc.
