I never really understood why we had a "what are you cooking" thread and not a "what are you eating" thread. Anyway, the Christmas market is back in town and I couldn't resist the pork and chilli footlong... It was delicious. No snickering in the back row  In my head I always think "what's cooking" which I like because it encompasses more IMO. As slang it says "what's happening" or "what's coming next" relative to what we're eating, ate, plan to eat, etc. Not familiar with the term "Christmas market". Is the footlong pork, or is that how the chilli's made? |

No snickering in the back row We went to a place in Pasadena this afternoon and got some hot dogs and fries. I didn't take any pictures of them but this is what we had.  And an order of Carne Asada fries.  Oh man that looks good  |

Unfortunately the Norwegian side of Johanna's family was her (non-cooking) dad's side, so her mom never makes sweet treats like that. But Yo made all you see there from scratch |

Did the cooking for the week...Pantry-Raid Chicken (with tomato and basil) is in the crock pot, and black beans have been pressure-cooked.
