Hi everyone!
I'm new to the board and did a quick search to see that there is currently no thread specifically dedicated to EC Comics. I, myself, am a huge EC collector and thought it would be good to create a thread focusing on all things EC.
Does anyone else collect EC? I'd love to see some other collections and discuss.

I bought a bunch of the Gladstone reprints when they came out because I wanted to read them. I don't collect ECs though. Too many things I want and not enough cash. I did have a chance to grab a low grade Crime Suspenstories #22 recently at a good price but waited too long and missed it

Oh, wow... Crime SuspenStories 22! It's hard enough to find reprints, nevermind originals. An original copy is probably my holy grail of comics at this point. I only have a reprint which took a while to track down for a reasonable price.

In 2000 the San Diego Comic Con had EC's 50th anniversary as their main theme. This was perfect for me, as the eBay chat board was planning to meet up in San Diego that year. Here is the program from that show.

The AACC had a special dinner for EC fans. Jack Davis was not at the convention but he was at this dinner. Here's a special EC issue of Comic Book Marketplace that was given out among other items.

I collect EC's as well. I do have a bunch of the reprints and a few originals. One of the first book my mom bought for me was EC Classics Reprint #8 which is a reprint of Shock Suspenstories #6. I finally got around to picking up an original copy a couple years back. My favorite EC book is Crime Suspenstories #22. I wish I had more of that book.

Here is the book my mom bought me 30+ years ago from a flea market. Which lead me to buy this many years later. Along the way, I picked this up which at the time was still very affordable.

SSS #6 was my Grail when I went to SD in 2000. Got a decent copy for $40 so I was happy.
