Made the decision to stick with the plan and do another culling and listing items. I purposely decided to stay in and start that process while the Tyson Paul fight and undercard were on tonight. I said it in the threads, I do not see that place lasting another few years. I tried multiple browsers on various devices and it will not load in. The ability to start a thread exists but once created it cannot be replied to. The place was doomed when Kav left. I don't know if that is exactly how I would describe it.  |

I was actually going to start a thread to ask who the moderators are and if there has been any moderator action taken in the last 3 or 4 days since Mike was canned - registry, website or otherwise, as it seems there aren't ANY. The Forums aren't working today for me, so I can't seem to reply or quote anything or even start a thread. The screen just jumps to the top of the page when I try to reply to someone. Is this the Invision meltdown happening in real time now that Mike isn't patching it up? Is anyone else having trouble posting over there? I can't get the site to work on my phone or computer, either. Again. I sent an email to CGC to ask them if they're aware of what's happening and if there are any moderators. I'd imagine that advertisers who were paying for ad space on the CGC forums would be pretty ticked right now to know that the traffic on the forums is being affected.

BTW, I always felt like you were probably one of the few people on the planet who could sympathize with me about how difficult the job of forum moderation is. You're damned if you do and damned it you don't...someone is always going to be upset with you. There's also a ton of work behind the scenes that very few, if any, are ever aware. Thanks for all the time you gave us working the boards, beyond the moderation. And the moderation too, as it was for the most part fair. I'm sorry I couldn't give much in the GoFundMe, I'm due in hospital 2 and ½ hours away in a little under a week, (2 trips there and back actually, but one is just to see a doctor) they're completely changing one of my sleeping tablets and ALL of my painkillers, which is at least 4 meds, could be more depending on their interpretation of some of my pills. It won't be an easy few weeks, and unfortunately I've got expenses getting prepared for that, that I can't miss out on. I'm sorry Mike, but I did what I could. |

I'm more concerned about you than my rehab (though it will be hell, I'm told, but I hope she was exaggerating), but still, that's secondary to how you're doing. Hopefully enough will have been raised to see you guys out through Christmas, at least. That might be a bit wishful thinking on my end, it can be difficult switching between currencies, especially at 4am when your sleeping tablets are slowly kicking in, haha. But hopefully we'll be able to see you through Christmas and New Years. |
