I like Connie Britton as an actress - I thought she was great in 'Friday Night Lights.' I ended up watching the first couple episodes of 'Younger' instead. |

Just went to see Smurfs: The Lost Village with my family. Great fun! I'm a big fan of the Smurfs Saturday morning cartoon from the 80s. It was really quite clever at times. This movie, from the ads, looks to be at least somewhat faithful to that show.  I've tried to get my nine year old daughter into The Smurfs but she wants no part of it. |

This movie, from the ads, looks to be at least somewhat faithful to that show. I've tried to get my nine year old daughter into The Smurfs but she wants no part of it. She's missing out! It was very entertaining. The 80s cartoon was great. My sister and I watched it every week, despite being slightly too old for it. The one thing I really noticed about the movie was Gargamel's voice was very different to the cartoon version. It was more "evil villain" than "bumbling wizard". |
