I did that with Flash season 1 and just couldn't get into season 2 as much as I did with the first season. I still have to go back someday and watch what I missed as well as pretty much everything from season 2 on for Arrow.

Lost in Space on Netflix linkI watched two episodes. It's just ok. Some shows insult your intelligence. This one punches it in the face...repeatedly.

Just a couple observations for Chris Nolan's Bat trilogy. Homeless people don't give Gangland shootouts a second glance when they're eating. A real fancy knee brace will make your foot and ankle strong enough to kick a brick wall to dust. Falcone is resistant to blistering hot spotlight glass. Mayor Anthony Garcia is so horribly nearsighted, he couldn't see the fake Batman approaching the window he was looking through until he smacked the glass. Apparently the bats in the Batcave don't .

Incredibles 2, AKA "I waited 15 years for this?!" Movie Bob explains it better, and he pretty much hit all the problems I have with the film.
I was going to write a full-length review, but you know what, I just couldn't bother, much like how Brad Bird doesn't seem to bother. It has so many good plot-points about feminism, the reverse role of men and women, the emasculation of people and society when offered the privilege of convenience, individualism vs. following the law (something Civil War already tackled, sort of), but none of them seem to have a proper payoff. Just a bunch of ideas slapped together to have an excuse for a fun but nonetheless shallow fight sequence with nothing meaningful to say.
5/10. Was going to give it 6/10 since it's still a fun superhero flick that pays tribute to the Golden Age of superheroes in its visual style and even narrative theme (showing heroes being heroes), but watching Bob's review and thinking about how disappointing all this has been (especially to a Pixar fan like me who has been disappointed since Cars came out in 2006), I couldn't really care.

Well, that's a shame. I guess we'll wait for cable or dvd. Sounds like Pixar took this opportunity to pander to the PC crowd without actually delivering a message. The main thing I hate about PC is that when the "lesson" is being delivered, it usually does so in a way that paints an entire group of individuals as offenders (i.e. ALL men are sexist pigs, or ALL white Americans are biggots).
Black Panther is my latest example. I really enjoy the film, but that's if I ignore the tired old message that ALL black people EVERYWHERE in America are kept under "our" heels. In the film, this was determined because one person spent his time in one area (West Oakland), and decides it's a fact of totality. That's as ignorant as using Beverly Hills as an example of the lives of all white people.
How can social ignorance be addressed if the message is also ignorant?

Outbreak (1995) - Rewatch: Oh boy, this movie was stupid. But you know what? In true Wolfgang Petersen fashion, it's stupid with interesting characters, and good characters always make a better movie than a good plot. Furthermore, I think it's one of those dumb action movies with just the right amount of intensity for a good time. There were many thrills that would work to entertain if you just turn off your brain a little regarding the details of the virus and how they literally pulled an antidote outta a monkey's ass in a matter of hours.
6.5/10. Good fun.

And to Dustin Hoffman's credit, he was in Rain Man! Anyway, I was only watching it out of nostalgia. I used to watch this movie with my mum a lot. She introduced me to a lot of dumb movies she constantly hyped up because of their intense action sequences... especially those many Steven Seagal movies. Oy vey.

OK maybe not Freeman in the 90s, but my God, if ever there were a has-been today, it would be him.
Nostalgia movies are good though. I have a few I used to watch with my mother, including one or two old black and white vampire movie.
