I watch 2001 & 2010 every now and then. I've often wondered what it would be like having a 2nd sun (Lucifer) and I recently came across a site discussing the possible effects such a thing would have on Earth. They all seemed to look at it from a gravity POV, but it seems to me having that brightness level throughout most of the year would have a profound effect on how our food grows. Millions of years of plant life depending on how we orbit Sol to determine when they flower/produce would literally change overnight.
Just sayin'.

The changing gravity would probably give me a migraine.

2001 is superb. One of my favourite movies. I recently bought it on Blu-Ray, which was well worth it. {Spoiler}

Harley Quinn's intro in the Suicide Squad film makes me roll my eyes. "You Don't Own Me" plays, letting us know "She is Woman, she is Strong". That should keep the easily offended happy until they realize there is only ONE "you" in her world, and that's The Joker. And last I heard, he without a doubt DOES "own" her. It's so weak minded that creating a politically incorrect character is in itself becoming politically incorrect.

I've seen maybe an episode of it but my wife loves that show. If it's as funny as that clip then I may have to watch it.

I started watching Season 5 of 'House of Cards' on Netflix.
Some of the prior seasons were rather mediocre. This one is shaping up to be one of the best so far IMO.

Anyone watch Elementary? Love that show.
FYI, British men don't button their shirts at the collar unless they're wearing a tie. Even the slightly odd ones...
