sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/tag/naked-man/NAPA (KCBS/CBS SF) — Fire crews had to rescue a naked man after he got trapped inside a vent shaft above a Napa Togo’s sandwich shop Tuesday morning because he mistook it for something magical. 48-year-old Robert Turbidy got himself on the roof of the Togo’s/Baskin Robbins at 269 Soscol Ave. in south Napa early Tuesday morning. He lowered himself into a crawl space using a makeshift rope that broke. Apparently he was under the influence when he got on the roof. He later told authorities he thought the shaft was a “wishing well.” Turbidy ended up stuck at the bottom of the crawl space. Emergency crews were dispatched to the location at about 8:30 a.m. Authorities said fire crews had to demolish a part of the building to get him out. Turbidy was transported to a hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. He will be booked into Napa County Jail for burglary and violating his probation terms.

Naked Man On Cal Train Tracks Causes Early Morning Delay SANTA CLARA (CBS SF) — A naked man in his 20s who sat on railroad tracks Thursday morning at a Caltrain station in Santa Clara caused brief train delays before being restrained and taken to a hospital, a police spokesman said. The unclothed man appeared distraught and was unable to identify himself before police officers put restraints on him, covered him and took him to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, Santa Clara police Lt. Kurt Clarke said. Police were not able to find his clothing or any form of identification for him, Clarke said. “We don’t know who he is,” Clarke said. It was too early to determine whether the man, believed to be in his early 20s, would be arrested, Clarke said. People at the Santa Clara station informed Caltrain about the man sitting on the train tracks at about 8:10 a.m. today, Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn said. The man’s presence prompted delays on three Caltrain northbound and southbound trains, one by four minutes, one by eight minutes and a third by five minutes, Dunn said. Dunn described it as “a fairly insignificant delay.” The man was on the tracks well before any trains were approaching the station and no emergency stops were necessary, Dunn said. Linky |

Naked Man Walks Into High School Girl's Locker Room SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — Police were trying to locate a man who walked naked into a high school girls’ locker room in South San Francisco on Monday evening. At about 5:30 p.m., a man wearing no clothes went into a locker room at South San Francisco High School and exposed himself to five girls who were changing after cheerleading practice, police Sgt. Bruce McPhillips said. ADVERTISING Witnesses told police the suspect made eye contact with the girls and then left without saying anything, McPhillips said. He did not touch anyone, and no one was injured. As of Tuesday morning, the suspect had not been identified. He was described as a white man around 40 years old and 5 feet 10 inches tall with an average build. He is balding with short brown hair, and has a potbelly, police said. Linky |

Naked Man Arrested After Running Down I-15 SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A man is in custody Saturday after stripping off all of his clothes and running down freeway lanes in Rancho Bernardo. California Highway Patrol began receiving numerous calls of a naked man running down the I-15 Freeway around 1:30 Saturday afternoon.  Emergency Crews Respond To Naked Man Atop Electrical Tower Linky with live streaming video. Emergency services received a 911 call around 9:30 Thursday morning of a naked man climbing a power transmission tower in New Orleans East. Officials are attempting to cut the power, and are trying to talk him down, but he has made no attempt to come down. As of 2:30 pm central time, the man was about 80-90 feet up onto the tower, creating a very dangerous situation, officials said. They are not making any effort to force him down, in an effort to prevent any injuries.

Naked Man Arrested In Spokane Community College Women's Bathroom LinkySPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Police say they arrested a man after a woman reporting discovering him naked in a stall in a women's bathroom at Spokane Community College. The Spokesman-Review reports (https://goo.gl/d2Y9wP ) 27-year-old Brandon Birdsill was arrested Wednesday. Birdsill had previously been arrested for an identical crime on the same campus in 2014 and had been banned from returning. Court documents say the woman told police she opened an unlocked stall door in the bathroom to find Birdsill lying on couch cushions while performing a sexual act. She told a professor who found Birdsill still in the bathroom. The 2014 incident occurred in the same bathroom and the same building as Wednesday's incident. He's being held in jail on $30,000 bond on suspicion of indecent exposure and burglary with sexual motivation. |

Sometimes it's a few weeks between incidents. I don't think they even bat an eye anymore when it happens on my street. I have not been able to get out much though.  |

One of the most disturbing scene I saw happened when an employee paged me to the restrooms. As I approached I saw one of my employees, who was pregnant, holding open the restroom door and telling the lady to put her clothes back on. Since this was a dangerous situation for her to be in I told her she should step away from the door. Just as she is walking away the lady pulls open the door and there she was...  Apparently she was taking a bath in the sink and decided to walk out onto the salesfloor before going back into the restroom. One of my other employees called LAPD and when they drove onto the parking lot we tried waving them down but they just took off once they saw danger. That was an embarrassing situation since my employees had a good laugh afterwards due to the look of disgust on my face. |
