I don't believe Beerbong's numbers... I'm glad you weighed in on this. Not my area of expertise...but those numbers seemed crazy high...with little if any information to justify such a purchase. Also, what any of his anecdotal information had to do with the Starlin issue is beyond me.

I don't know much about the 'behind the counter' operations of a CS, but I can't believe a shop owner would order 17k books, much less 35k. Ridiculous.

Mile High would have, but Mile High had multiple stores and a distribution company at the time. I don't know what sort of setup Beerbohm had at the time, but I doubt he was running multiple retail outlets AND a distribution company. Even if he was, GI Joe #2 wouldn't have been ordered in speculative amounts...#1 definitely, but NOT #2, which is why, at the height of Joe-Mania in 1985-1986, #2 was a $50 book, while #1 was only $25-$35...because it WAS underordered, compared to #1. I don't understand why he thinks he should say these things. Maybe he's losing mental capacity. Maybe he's just a liar. Maybe he thinks it will impress people, people who have no way of gauging whether or not such numbers are impressive. You better clean up your act, Borock and Co.

I bet they won't. We've already seen that when some people challenge others, the challengers gets the shaft. That board is more of a circle-jerk than CGC's ever will be.

You better clean up your act, Borock and Co. Is he posting this stuff at CGC as well? If he's only doing this at CBCS, then I'd bet he just figures the majority of posters there will believe whatever they're told.

How is that I haven't been banned yet, looking at that reason? I contribute nothing over there... Not to mention "the usual suspects".

I don't dislike anyone enough to go elsewhere and rant about them like people on Facebook. I just ignore 'em.
