I don't think so. I have double pane windows that seal pretty well. When I go outside (which is almost never now), I can see, smell and taste the smoke; so there's a big difference between inside and outside. It would be great if it rained soon (possible chance on Wed.). I hope so. It must be awful. Even the mega pollution cloud from Europe we had a few years back wouldn't be anywhere near as bad as that. We have the worst pollution on Earth right now. For reference, I live sorta near San Jose. California cities now have the worst air pollution on Earth as smoke blows into town |

I understand you guys over the pond are looking at temperatures as low as -30C/-22F. Man, that's cold! If it's any consolation, poor old Sulu had to endure -120C/-184F in the episode "The Enemy Within" when he was stranded on the planet Alpha 177...
