It's been raining pretty steady for the last couple of days.
This nice thing is the cloud cover, which warms things up. Before the rain, we were hitting near freezing temps in the morning.

Almost anything is preferable to Buffalo winters and "lake effect" snow.

We're thawed out now, but this was last week.

We may be getting snow tomorrow. Snow in England means major turmoil. We only get "real" snow once every few years and we're not prepared for it. The schools will close, the shops will close, all but the main roads will turn to ice rinks and everything will grind to a halt.

I was in Lethbridge, Alberta from the 19th to the 1st, and it got down to -23C (which sounds more impressive than the -10F it actually is.)
I'm in AZ now, and it seems that I've missed all the rain. First, it rained like hell in AZ while I was in Canada, and then it's rained like hell back home in LA.
Sigh.
I love the rain, and haven't gotten to enjoy any of it.

"It can't rain all the time..."

It's raining here right now...and been raining on and off all day.
Pro-Tip If your downspout is making a lot of noise from water drops, take one of those green plastic scrubbing pads and shove it inside the spout - works like a charm.

Haven't seen that in a while.
