Ugh! Not overly hot and humid but just warm and humid enough that the house doesn't cool down much overnight

I've inhaled more smoke this past week than I probably put there myself in 15 years Wind coming from B.C.? Yessir, the air quality went to total hell on Sunday. We left for BC yesterday Currently in Kelowna, it's smoky, but not terrible. Still, having quit smoking 4 years ago, never realized how sensitive I've become to it now. Heading down the okanagan today and then off to chilliwack.

I don't think they would travel well for so long. Bosley would probably be fine, but Morty gets pretty anxious. Little guy has thrown up a few times just going between Edmonton and Calgary. He's getting better, perhaps one day we can take longer trips Hope your friends are doing well. Seems like the fires have died down a bit. There was rain on the way out here, which is good but it's still really dry everywhere though. Coming up the 3 from Osoyoos to Chilliwack, the hills are super parched.

I never knew Chilliwack was a real place. So is Dildo, Newfoundland. They have a mascot, a crusty old sea-man named Captain Dildo. I you not.

Hot again, not as humid as before, but still meh. It's the nights... they are warm & muggy and as Jeffro said, the house doesn't get a chance to cool down. We have a week or so of this to look forward to still.

I knew someone who would hose down their roof near day's end, claiming the evaporation helps cool the house faster in the evening. It makes sense, but I never tried it.
