So I contact a seller on CL who has 5 long boxes and 4 short boxes of comics (Spiderman Iron Man X-men etc)
Picture shows nothing but the boxes.
I ask how much he wants - he says to come take a look (1 hour away) and make an offer
I ask to see some additional pics - he says they are all 80s/90s
Ok so I'll come by but before I do can I get a ball park on what he's looking to get.
He says all the books and bag/boarded and sell for $5 each. He said there is a total of 1700 books
I ask if he's looking to get over $1000 based on those numbers. He says - it all depends on the offers he gets. He says a lot of folks have been messaging him.
- I hate when sellers don't have a set price. I hate driving out to see something and wait on my offer being accepted. Or sellers who don't want to put the effort into selling their books. Don't want to make a list, take pics.
Yet despite all of these warning signs to stay away, I'll make way over there at some point
