I saw an ad this morning for some comics about 45 min away. pics showed a ASM129 so I set up a time to pick them up. When I get there he has 5 long boxes and one short. In the original ad he only had one long box showing. I was super pumped. here are the main books I went to buy based on his asking price.

Wow, great find! If you don't mind me asking, maybe in PM or something, what was the asking price and paid price?
I'd like to do some hunting around locally myself, just to add to my own collection and try to sell off what I don't want, maybe make a buck or two here and there. I have no idea how these things work

he was asking $250. The 129 isn't in the best shape. I gave him $330 because of the extra boxes. The rest of the boxes there are some $1, $3 books at least one long box. lot of 50 cent books. Guy loved Grimjack, ton of those books. Also there was a some trades including a whole set of irreedemable tpbs. one of the few copper lots i buy where there isn't any X-men books (just the 266, 248 and a couple more)

That's a great find! Call me a philistine but the first thing to catch my eye were the Batman #1s...

The #1 looks gradeable (9.4 or better). I didn't really check the other 2

Yeah based on the books in the long boxes and the 129 I'm going to get most of the books like the Dk1 gradedsince I'll only be in on the grading fees
The x266 is in nice shape also

When I first saw the top picture, I thought the owner had left the boxes sitting on a wet floor... Then I saw the trolley
