Cycle Sluts from Hell and DrainSTH were pretty hot back in the day, and I always liked Lita Ford I haven't listened to Drain in years! When did they become Drain STH...?

I've never even heard of that. Sounds like a group event... That fish is a roach BTW I did not know that, right over my head. British/European freshwater fish often mistaken with the Rudd. Not Paul...

Not familiar with Drain, but I believe you hit on the answer, that there was already an American band named Drain. The STH stands for Stockholm and Wikipedia isn't very helpful: "With Gutås departure, Axén, Canel and Anna K joined forces with former Necronancy guitarist turning vocalist Maria Sjöholm, now wife of Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi. They changed the name to "Drain" and signed a deal with MVG Records in 1994. For the American market the band was known as Drain STH." Edit: had to Google BHS, they are not my type of band, too west coast.

Texas is different, we got Pantera and DRI from them. BHS are not metal enough for me, too psychedelic I think. Just like I think Faith No More was a terrible band.

BHS, Death, DRI, and the Dicks(MDC, Millions Of Dead Cops) all spent some serious time in California before getting an album released. Well, BHS came to SF after their ep was released, now that I think of it. Scott Stevens (thier first bassist, was even making his own comics at the time. Mr. Fix, anyone?) Scott, still an Austin staple as a writer to this day, beyond his involvement with the Butts.
