Haven't been here in a while but I'll make an attempt: anyone else annoyed by Jimmy Kimmel's healthcare rant? There you are. I haven't had a chance to digest the Kimmel news yet. I'm still working on the Stephen Colbert mess.

This is probably one of the dumbest non-events in American history...but everyone seems to want a circus so... *Wouldn't it be nice if Washington was focused on the economy and fighting terrorism...you know...stuff like that?

I walked into the living room today, saw the words "TRUMP" and "COMEY" all over the TV, and walked back out.
I refuse to watch politics on TV. That's a literal hell for me. Ugh.

I walked by what looked like a late teenage/early 20s woman and she was wearing a t-shirt that said something about prosecuting Trump for treason. Did I miss something? Did the Donald do something treasonous?

I walked by what looked like a late teenage/early 20s woman and she was wearing a t-shirt that said something about prosecuting Trump for treason. Did I miss something? Did the Donald do something treasonous? She's just plugged into her respective partisan group-think tribe and is proudly wearing their latest flag. It cracks me up that literally no one is using common sense on this issue: 1) Republicans are hawkish on defense spending and Russia in general. If Russia wanted to sway the election one way or another, they would prefer the Democrats to be in charge. If their ultimate goal was to cause disruption and chaos instead, then they have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. 2) Almost everyone from both sides agree that Trump is just incompetent/stupid/arrogant (take your pick) and hasn't broken any laws yet - so why waste time on impeachment debates which will likely be futile? 3) Trump is a lifelong Democrat with rather left-leaning viewpoints. If he eventually does something impeachable which causes him to resign or be removed from office, you get the Vice President. Pence is a right-leaning Republican, and exactly who the Republican party would love to see in charge instead of Trump. If you are a Democrat, why would you pursue this? On top of this whole fiasco, after Comey's testimony, both sides have now claimed victory. This is a clear sign that intelligence checked out and partisan group-think prevails. A few months ago, the Republicans loved Comey and the Democrats hated him because of his statements about Hillary's investigation. If Obama had fired him, the Republicans would have accused him of treason. Now, a few months later, we have a situation were the Democrats love Comey and the Republicans hate him because of his statements about Trump. Trump fires him and the Democrats are accusing Trump of treason. This entire scenario is another clear sign that intelligence checked out and partisan group-think prevails. This would all be laughable if it wasn't so destructive and wasteful. Partisan politics are killing this country. IMO we should vote out anyone from either side who plays this game and possibly create a third political party for voters who are sick of this.

I love the "Impeach Trump talk". Impeach him for what?? Besides, impeachment doesn't necessarily get rid of a sitting president
