I'd rather have a sincere debate over the issue as opposed to a semantic argument. YMMV
I answered the question. If "the issue" is you understanding the irony, that answer resolves it, right?
Edit: To clarify, you said, "the party". Had you said, "a party", I would not have commented at all.
I guess we will have to agree to disagree whether any irony was involved.

Then don't debate. Discuss, WITH FCATS (savvy?). It is clearly established that you have a Google/Wiki PHD, and an MS in Illogical Logic, with a Concentration in Debate Phrasing (Whataboutism/Whereasism/Assumptionism/OHYEAIDEOLOGYDIVISION/Suposeism/Itsnotmeitsyouism). Then ignore me as I attempt to have sincere discussions. I rarely respond to you and not because I don't like you, it's because you're a bad actor who brings nothing to the conversation and that's not hyperbole, you really bring nothing. I appreciate your endorsement of the correctness of my comments. Sincerity does not require an attempt. Therein is the 'tell" of your basis of your posts. Do, not attempt to do.

Apparently when some folks here say they want to have a "sincere" debate or conversation, it's clear they're being disingenuous (to put it politely). The evidence of this disingenuousness is in their repeatedly ignoring sincere questions from someone regarding defending innocent life, to be met with their immediately changing the subject towards banning inanimate objects an other such nonsense. Repeatedly ignoring sincere questions of the topic is not the sign of wanting sincere discussion, it's just plain BS. One can only ask a rock about defending human life so many times, only to be met with zero replies to those sincere questions, and instead is met with the rock trying to trip oneself, before one simply just steps over the rock and continues on one's path. ETA: Directing the response to the proper recipient. I don't know how many times I can repeat this. I do not believe abortion is murder, you do, what else can be said? Please don't impose your religious beliefs on others. In the US...as much as some people would love it, we are not a christian nationalist country. I'm not forcing you to get an abortion, how about stop trying to take away my right to have one. This is an excellent example of a failed attempt to have a sincere debate. It is a classic example of obfuscation and avoidance, and re-directing the conversation to an Ideology Of Division.

A lot has been posted but I guess the simple explanation for me is that life does not begin at conception (in my opinion)
and while abortion (if I had to make that choice) is a personal one, I do believe people should have the right to decide themselves what is and what isn't moral
I see and understand your views and beliefs, and there in lies the disagreement of what we think is moral
I believe people should have the right to do what they think is best, and its a complex one because it's a situation where both sides could be right. But again my belief is that people should have the right to choose what they want to do
The same with being vaccinated etc

I will go further and say that it's not just conservatives that are trying to control the lives of strangers

I don't think anyone is arguing that point. But as far as this topic goes the answer is a resounding yes.

If life does not begin at conception then a zygote is dead? When does it begin? At one month? six? 7 months 3 days 14 minutes and seven seconds? When does the magic happen?

You said, "the", which is exclusionary.
I'd rather have a sincere debate over the issue as opposed to a semantic argument. YMMV It's just so toxic here. This appears to have once been a great forum, but a handful of toxic trolls are now burning what's left of it down. Toxic reply by toxic reply, they're destroying the last vestiges of what Ditch built here.

You've really struggled to grasp the topic here, but Zod appreciates your efforts, and in particular, your one on-topic reply to his 4th request for same.

Undoubtedly. The two party system here is corrupt and dangerous to its very core.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree whether any irony was involved.
No, it was ironic.
