Hey Jimmers. Evan was making a comic with a friend in school but not anymore. The kids have been on the PS4 or Steam or playing Granny or FNAF. They're setting up the online schooling this week so things will become more stable. Home schooling sucks! So,how much fun are we having now dad? Hope everyone's happy and safe,no Joshing It's getting better, the online stuff is making more sense and there's no missing links anymore, etc. Also, I didn't think the kids would still get their spring vacation but they do. Vacation starts today and no schooling until Monday the 20th. Wooo!

I'm good with continuing this until we see better numbers that folks won't be at risk. Probably not a popular decision, particularly from an economic standpoint, but I accept it's necessary. In looking forward to this ending, I'd anticipate the most interesting times lie ahead.

In looking forward to this ending, I'd anticipate the most interesting times lie ahead. I have mixed feelings about it. The key (at least to me) to all of this is good testing data to base decisions. I'm not confident we have that yet. Until we do, I think it's wise to err on the side of caution and keep everything locked down as much as possible. But, as some have been saying, the cure could be worse than the disease. There are so many ramifications of a stagnant economy and the economic hardships that follow.

We found out what the last day of school will be, so we re-purposed a generic Advent calendar. We're counting down from 25 to 0

I think Bill makes a lot of sense here. To his comment about Huntington, NY and the challenge for residents to lose weight, I’ve often wondered about communities in the States holding the equivalence of Germany’s volksmarches. Have a group get together once a month (or whatever) and walk a pre-planned distance and route. Let people register if they want an event t-shirt or tchotchke. Local businesses can sponsor and give out raffle prizes at the end. Promote activity.

He takes a lot of heat from the left every time he points out that most health problems in the US (including our problems with COVID-19) are obesity-related. We make smokers pay extra for health insurance, but we give the obese a pass. It doesn't make any sense. Governing by popularity - don't touch the booze or the pizza if you want to get reelected.
