This is an excellent video for those who don't really understand growth functions and the pandemic we are facing. The pond and the lily pad example really drives the point home. ExampleThere's a lily pad on a pond that reproduces once per day. So, on Day 2 you have 2 lily pads, on Day 3 you have 4, etc. Question If it takes the lily pad 60 days to cover the pond, how long will it take for the pond to be half covered? Answer: 59 Days. Think about that. Question On what day do the lily pads cover only 1% of the pond? Answer: Day 54. Now let THAT sink in.

Which would you take, a million dollars cash or a penny that doubles every day for 30 days?

I worry about homeless populations and how the safety of those folks can or will be managed. Also for business that qualify as "essential", will their employees be protected from undue exposure?

They're projecting 25 million in California will get infected. That's well over half of the people in the state. Hopefully, the lock-down will slow the rate of infections. I still don't think a lot of people are taking it seriously enough.

Because I'm a pedant, may I point out that COVID-19 is the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus.
