also, and i could be wrong, the very recent post (by stu?) in the moderation section was very good. it helps draw more people here. i gave the post a trophy. because, what was quoted is fact, and because it is timely. if it was not stu, whomever posted it good job. now, it may have been posted in some nefarious intent to embarrass roy, but it still serves ditch's forum well, because it will draw traffic. good job. Oh yeah? I missed that. What did he post?
Is he copying posts from here and posting them over there?  it was your last post replying to me, and part pof the previous one. janet answered asking if he can pick the persons to send over. i gave his post a trophy, because if he did so, i would absolutely enjoy having the group i mentioned in my post. in fact, would welcome it. coincidentally, micro showed up a few minutes ago and called 500 out. and...on que, bob masks the 500 lie by stating the post is double masking. clown. |

The grand irony in all of this is that if the moderators simply stopped allowing trolling with a little extra effort, none of this would be happening. I've extended my olive branch on the CGC boards openly several times. I won't be doing it again.
This is a microcosm of what is going on in the real world and it's happening everywhere in every aspect of society and people are only getting more and more entrenched. It won't end well without both sides showing a little more grace.

It's funny because I've been talking about the pitfalls of social media for ages and ironically, some of the people who have discounted the points I was making are literally walking in the steps of those same pitfalls.
Anyway, back to Corona-politics.
Daszak is saying that the US shouldn't be quick to trust their military and intelligence findings and to trust his report. Really? 
Does anyone else see this as just more obfuscation by Daszak who has deep, vested interests in the outcome of the investigation?
How the flip was he the only American on the team?

Most sources are stating that this '3rd wave' looming with new variants is going to be worse than what we've already seen in the 1st two waves of Covid-19
In Ontario, Canada they're expecting to get hammered by April with a 3rd wave.
I can post links but I think most people are reading the same news.
Should make for an interesting summer.

A politician lied about the pandemic? I'm shocked! 
We know social media is destroying the very fabric of society, we know politicians lie, we know the news is so false that often believing the exact opposite of what it reports...but we want more of the same.
Nothing will change until the people change and choose politicians that won't lie, put social media in it's place and stop supporting news that is biased.
Society is complicit in what is happening.

I had people on social media telling me that the investigation was over and that it was solved.  I can't believe that some people just assumed that biased report was a 'one and done' deal and bought it hook line and sinker.
That's the sort of partisan censoring that is causing all of the problems we have in the world. It's not how science and the truth works.
It wouldn't surprise me if the world bands together to push for a deeper investigation into China and the origins of the virus. Hopefully the world continues to pressure China and the investigation becomes more exhaustive.
