Only purchased a Neal Adams profile sketch of Ra'al Ghul today (I really hate his prices), but spoke with him for a while. I was behind him for a while going back to the Marriott's. I left him alone. I saw Keith Pollard at the elevator, but left him alone too. They were off the clock, and I'll see them tomorrow anyway. I always liked Pollard's work. He was never flashy but a real good solid comic artist.

My friends were all into WWF back then, but I was a big NWA fan.

And Ron Wilson was next to me. Nice man, he rememmbered me from this morning. I almost wish we were leaving so I can access imgur. The awards were fantastic. Sergio Aragones was funny as a presenter, as I'd expect. Jim Starlin, Walt Simonson, and George Perez (GP wasn't there, of course) were three of several HOF Inductees. Phil Lamar was a presenter- damned funny It's funny; something reminded me of a scene in "Paul" where Bill Hader asked Simon Pegg and Nick Frost if they knew Benny Hill. At the table, I watched as Starlin and Pollard introduced themselves to each other, and realized I'd done the same thing, but I honestly would have figured those two had met. Without a doubt this was the highlight so far. I was in Heaven But now I have to try and come down because we're expected at Tom Kraft's room at 10 where Mike will be signing several books for someone(s). At this point people are treating me as Mike's assistant because he's so caught up in talking to fans that he doesn't always pay attention to many details (such as time), so they always turn to me and verify. Oh yeah, we passed Stan Lee in the Marriott lobby, but the 2 much-larger-than me bodyguards didn't really look like they'd let me stop him to say 'hi'.

Sounds like you're having a great time, Siggy! VERY much so, and I've barely wandered the floor. There's a crap load of stuff here I have no interest in, of course. I have zero interest in the toys and art prints or clothing or games so I hang around the OA tables, Artists Alley, & the Kirby Museum (mostly). I haven't bothered with the free goodies given away here. The Jack Kirby 100th birthday celebration with IDW handed out prints exclusive to the panel (they said). Always have to take those claims with a grain of salt. Around 4:00 I was really feeling the humidity and decided to call it a day. I hope I'm not missing much, but just can't get out there again. They're closing down 35 minutes anyway, so I'll try to get the last items of interest tomorrow. I still have the place card with name and the table number we were given for the awards (silly, I know), but then thought it would be cool if I got the creators seated with us to sign it. I'm pretty sure Ron Wilson and Keith Pollard will be at their tables tomorrow, and am hoping Joe Staton will be at his. Starlin appears to be here for the awards only, so that likely won't bappen, but I still got pics of him at the table. A photographer was wandering around taking pics of each table, so I need to look for that one since I'm obviously not in the ones I took, and I didn't think Starlin was a 'selfie' kind of guy Still haven't located Tim Vigil's table It's crazy here.
