Preview night is over, probably only a small fraction of the people flooding this place over the next few days. Mike introduced me to Tom Kraft (Kirby Museum & the What If Kirby website), and we were invited to dine with him and his guests tomorrow night. After tonight I'll need to pace myself. I bought 2 pages from Vampirella #4 from Anthony's Art (the amount of art he carries with him is staggering- I might have to go back). I thought I had IMGUR log in info on my smart phone, but I do not. I wanted to post pics each day, but will have to wait until I get home. Yes, pace yourself! And enjoy! |

I'm probably going to a small show at the end of the month and then Terrificon in August I'm actually kind of pumped for Terrificon. It's got a pretty good guest list and Superworld will be there. I can always find something from Ted to buy. |

Only purchased a Neal Adams profile sketch of Ra'al Ghul today (I really hate his prices), but spoke with him for a while. I was behind him for a while going back to the Marriott's. I left him alone. I saw Keith Pollard at the elevator, but left him alone too. They were off the clock, and I'll see them tomorrow anyway. Saw a couple Rich Buckler page I might pick up tomorrow. Mike threw me a 'shout out' at his panel this morning. I'm not ashamed to say I thought that was pretty effin' cool  even though he was [mock]griping that I purchased two pages yesterday that were originally supposed to be returned to him way back when It's sad how often he tells me all the times he was promised portions of the artwork would go to him, but never did. He always got some b.s. excuse as to why the penciller or someone else got what he was due. This probably happens to inkers a lot. Also met Mark Evanier today. |
