Looking at some of these books, what impact does bad signature placement have on some of these books compared to one that either has a good signature or is unsigned? I imagine a person in the market for a 6.0 AF#15 probably won't be interested in that copy with the signature across Spidey's face unless there is a reduction in price when there are other copies that either have better placement or are unblemished. If I had $60K to spend on a book, I sure as hell would not want one with signature across the front of Spidey's face.

I definitely wouldn't be happy if that were my book. I think the signature smudge just reduced the value of the book especially on a key book like that.

I'd be very dissatisfied with this placement. Only on rarities would I tolerate such an eyesore, and this doesn't qualify as a rarity.
