What's really fun is that, while we perceive time in a line, it's anything but. The entire universe only exists as a single point: the present. We can no sooner travel to the past than we can travel through a black hole and come out "the other side." It doesn't exist. There's nowhere in the past to go "to." The past only exists in the collective memories of entities which can remember; it does not exist in any physical way. Neither does "the future." The universe that existed when I began this post is no more, and never will be again. Trippy, huh? I like that. A very realistic view of time. "The skull/fetus, bracketing the "infinite one" portrays linear time, and indicates the temporality of life. Confronted by the constraints of time, every instant offers the capacity to realize our timeless existence."

It looks like it's in pretty good shape too. If the price was much lower I would have made an offer but the difference between what he is asking and what I'm willing to offer would just be insulting to the seller. Cool book though that I wouldn't mind owning someday.

I know the "keys" app is being discussed over at CGC, but this probably explains why the people at CBCS have no clue about this book. They probably get their info off this app, spec sites, or from their uninformed pals.

They probably get their info off this app, spec sites, or from their uninformed pals. That's what happens when you let technology do all your thinking for you. And when something comes up that contradicts the All Powerful App, they can get angry at everyone for being fools and treating the item like an actual key. Butthurt comes in many forms.
