It's mildly irritating seeing "collectors" sharing a book for their "personal collection" saying 4 months is a long time to wait for a pressed/graded book. Either don't press/grade it, or put some thought into the idea of THOUSANDS of comics submitted first are waiting for the same service Without actually saying it, the usual theme for all those bitching is, "If you have 5,000 books waiting to be pressed, them damn it, you owe it to your customer to have 5,000 presses [either that, or move my books to the front of the line]!"

It looks like it's in pretty good shape too. If the price was much lower I would have made an offer but the difference between what he is asking and what I'm willing to offer would just be insulting to the seller. Cool book though that I wouldn't mind owning someday. I wonder what kind of price the people who say, "low demand" or "minimal interest" would put on it if they owned it.

You can't. That's where all my 90s drek is. 1000s of copies of Justice League Task Force just choking up that queue...

I know the "keys" app is being discussed over at CGC, but this probably explains why the people at CBCS have no clue about this book. They probably get their info off this app, spec sites, or from their uninformed pals. $12

And when something comes up that contradicts the All Powerful App, they can get angry at everyone for being fools and treating the item like an actual key. Butthurt comes in many forms. If that App can screw up that bad, I wonder what other mistakes it's making. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence. What's wrong with coming up with your OWN list? Isn't that a big part of the fun of a hobby like this? I should start a service that selects, buys, presses, submits for grading, and stores the books in a vault...today's hands-off collector never needs to get involved. We'll send you pictures so you can post them on social media and impress your friends.

My SURROUNDED list is loaded with dollar drek and a couple nosebleeds, and making the list is almost as fun as checking comics off of it. I'm ALWAYS seeing books that aren't yet on it, and I'm probably dropping the ball too much lately in making note of them. This sounds familiar. I think I beat you to it... somewhere... But I COMPLETELY admit I could just be remembering someone else- Even you

Most likely none of them would even own the book since it's a pre-2000 book, but if one to own it I'm sure they'd all be congratulating the poster but still wouldn't have any idea why the book is a key.

I used a photocopier to reduce the size so it was small enough to fit on a tiny sheet of paper that I always had in my wallet. I was mostly a run collector back then, so when I was at the comic shop I'd have that sheet in one hand while I was flipping through books with the other. Who needs an App for that? My way was much quicker than any so-called smart phone. Pffft.

It's no different than any other time in our hobby, but it's irritating as hell because they could care less about enjoying the hobby. They just want to and scream about their LCS not selling them their entire stock of the newest "hot book" so that they can resell it for a huge profit. Here an example of misleading pricing. It says they couldn't find any sales history for the book. And another. Not only is the published date wrong, the publisher is wrong, and the variant is for a totally different volume. The book in the picture is the 1st print copy of the 2009 series. The series that is published by Action Lab is the 3rd or 4th series which is not the 1st appearance of Zombie Tramp. As others have said, this app is full of errors. I would be pissed if I sold a 1st print, Vol. 1 #1 for $25 and then later found out that not only were there less than 100 copies were made, but if you can ever find a 1st print copy for sale they normally sell for upwards of $1,000. BTW if you have any of the books pictured in your collection and want to sell them for the prices shown then I'd gladly take them off your hands for 2X the listed price.

I think a lot of these guys are in the new Gig Economy. They don't have real jobs so they flip books when they aren't driving for Uber. Or they publish books on pressing.
