You're right, they're both known to miss stuff, but I want to maximize my investment so CGC it is. Oh, if you're going to submit it, then yeah- CGC it. And that's not necessarily a knock on CBCS. They're just not there yet when it come to sale value. And, for those who don't 'know' me, I have no problem with slabbing certain books with the intent to sell. It does help maximize return, and it offers the buyer a better than fair shot at receiving a shenannigan-free item. You're right, CBCS isn't at the level of CGC yet but I have not problems submitting books to them. They may get there some day but right now the money is with CGC in most cases.

The big dogs definitely go to CGC. Of course, the big dogs are the only books I'd slab for resale

Someone say they ordered it "offline" when talking about buying something on the internet.
I don't think the word "off" means what they think it means.

Here's one that's going to divide opinion...
Wearing hats in a restaurant. Particularly baseball caps. Call me old fashioned, however I've always considered it good manners to remove my hat when sitting down to eat. Heck, I remove my hat when entering someone's house or even a shop. There seems to be a growing trend for people, particularly men, to wear hats/caps whilst eating. I suppose it's to be expected in a fast food restaurant but in a proper establishment... take your hat off, there's a good chap.

Never really thought about this before as I likewise remove my hat when I'm in a restaurant or someone's house or office. I think I'd be OK with someone wearing a low profile hat like a beret or Kangol in a restaurant, though.

Well, I usually wear a baseball cap to cover my nappy head, so it isn't coming off. That being said, I wouldn't go out to eat & wear a hat.

Marvel just wantonly decides to renumber again. I wonder how many collectors they lose every time they do that.

You're on vacation and you get calls from your job about stupid questions. Or asking you if you want to cover a shift because someone called in sick! This happened to me twice on my last vacation.

It irritates me when...
I go to eBay to search for comic books and the seller states "I am not a professional grader" but then lists the comic is in NM! Or the seller states the comic is in NM and the picture posted is purposely blurred!

You're on vacation and you get calls from your job about stupid questions. My employer still doesn't have my cell phone # on record, and never will It irritates me when I'm asked a few days in advance to give a crew some extra help on my day off, just to find upon arriving that one of the crew called in sick. One jackass did that to me twice. Shame on me.
