Some familiar people with big books. Lot of inflated asking prices in that video. $200k for an AF15 in a 6.0? I might be inclined to offer my 6.0 for $175k and I am still overpriced. MCS is currently offering a 6.5 for 135k or best offer and a 7.0 for $170k. Both books have slight to moderate Marvel Chipping. My 6.0 does not so $175k should be a steal. I wasn't paying that much attention to the prices, but you're right. And Marvel Chipping is something I won't buy, much like rusty staples it's a cancer that looks terrible and gets worse with time. I have always disagreed with CGC's grading wrt chipping.

This went viral on "X". A lot of people agree with Glenn. I skipped to the discussion.

I have always disagreed with CGC's grading wrt chipping. Even past that, Dale Roberts is asking $55,000 for a Giant Size X-Men 1 with White pages (a designation that CGC has consistently flip flopped on over the years). There is a white pager currently on eBay for $50k OBO There is an OW-W pager currently on eBay for $30k and $28.5. Sorry, if someone is willing to accept at MOST $50k on eBay that means that they are figuring in the 10% fees and that they are looking to collect around $45k before taxes. OBO means that they are willing to go lower than that. Even if it was a straight $55k, are "white" pages, a designation that CGC has again flip flopped on, worth around $25,000 more? Show prices for many of these books across the boards are straw grasping hopeful lures for a whale. I saw this at NYCC this past fall with many books and it seems that the market prices seem to be more through auction houses or person to person sales.

Mark Millar interviews Glenn O'Leery about his video. Glenn is right. I don't buy new comic books because the art and stories are just really bad. I'm not interested in hearing the author's personal viewpoints, I want to be entertained by a character that I love and identify with.

Gotta be a special kinda to be a rich pampered privileged person and yet still want victim points to get even more perks.

Just like there are some great popcorn movies out there, there are also some great popcorn comics.

has anyone here actually seen Carbo in action?
I was there once as he was buying out the remnants of my local comic book store. It was honestly like watching a frenzied robbery in high speed as a few guys are darting here and there grabbing boxes and flipping through certain things as another guy flips through things and sort of directs traffic. It's crazy.
