This is kinda cool. We were discussing stamp collecting in Woogie's Journal . Well, here's the intersection of collecting stamps and comic books. These are First Day Cover (FDC) sketches - I guess that's what you'd call them. They're in some kind of a slab from Beckett. link

The comic/tabloids in the photo look like they were stored rather poorly. Does Beano have any value? I wish the article showed what items actually had value. Looks like quantity over quality. If I tell you I have a book collection worth 4 million, that sounds rather impressive until you learn the collection contains 4 million books.

Anyone here ever read "Major Bummer?"
I'm intrigued. The covers look pretty interesting.

Anyone here ever read "Major Bummer?" I'm intrigued. The covers look pretty interesting. I’ve read this. Kind of corny take on a random group of people given powers by Aliens who want to study them. The main character is a young loser/slacker type who doesn’t like his powers. There’s no crime fighting or adventures per se, Just one or more of the same dozen characters appearing throughout each issue, although there’s “good” and “bad” guys among the characters, so they fight one another. It was entertaining enough to read, but you’re not missing anything if you pass it up. The art was fun to look at.
