I guess I've been mispronouncing a lot of artist names. How are we to know Mark Millar? I’ve known people that pronounce it both “Mill-err” and “Mill-R”. Who is this Jay Hamm (or is it “Hay-m”) anyway?

But this one's signed and in plastic? So,did you read Seige?I got a trade of Battleworld and I thought it was awesome.Secret Wars I think, the new one?Anyways,I have about thirty Marvel and DC trades circa 2012-2016 to read.I mean some were regular 29-59$! Three bux each I was all over it.Only real poopy stuff so far has been A Force.not my cupoa. Oh yeah,I read the Supes Batman new 52 1-12 plus annual. Some great, great art,I dug it...but man am I lost didn't love the story I quit Hulk after they screwed up the World War Hulk event. They restarted the book after the event with a crappy writer, a god awful artist named Ed McGuiness and the Red Hulk. I rarely buy any Marvel titles unless is a Garth Ennis MAX title or a Peter David Hulk book. Forgive my ignance, but red hulk is Thunderbolt Ross,no?Some stuff I've read touched on it and poo on that..I didn't groove on it.I read some WW Hulk stuff on the rec of Karl/Artboy at cgc and the Hulk fighting for the collector and him escaping to return to earth is as far as what I picked up cheap got me.The Illuminatcrap or Initiative whatever came after Civil War made me waaay to mad at Tony Stark and all.Fascists.I jad to step away. It's sort of great just reading what I stumble upon, whether cheap trades or the odd short box gifted to me by casual friends that dump their readers on me(I'm more than happy, and pass most on to the childrens hospital the hospice I stayed at up the street) I mean,I have about thirty longs in my collection and they are ALL readers, regardless of value-some ai'm just waaay careful with-but it's nice looking at what's freshish,to my eyes anyhow. I've been thinking of opening my trunk of Conan and Heavy Metal comic mags lately. Oh,and I'm pretty interested in finding and reading the earlier Thunderbolts..I think Pete Gentry's daughter is a woman Porcupine now?!

I wonder how much it would cost to send a package to you Jimmers you guys got Media Mail/Parcel Post up there? Honest,I'm pretty sure it's 15-17$ just to start man.I've got stuff cheaper, but I think it's marked commercial sample or something shady? Now's a bad time for parcels..Ardens boss blew up on me because I get stuff shipped there and with covid, his wife works with children with cancer.....Chinatown is really bad for crime and drugs now. I mentioned at cgc there was two dead people at my door?Opened it to have corpses fall on me.Tried naloxone kits but...anyways,that's MY neighbourhood.Fentanyl everywhere Thank jebus I have comics and my dog

Thunderbolts was the last great surprise book, they actually kept the secret of the book secret until it hit the shelves.

I was going to ask if you wanted those copies of Creepy Things after I read through them, but now I see if anything, it probably makes more sense to put together a larger parcel and go UPS or another carrier.

You're awesome! What Creepy Things?I have most of them...dig I miss a post? Yeah,it's silly.Even from Caterick who's like just across from Windsor ot's silly for international between us.Sending a slab to the UK was only twenty Canadian dollars, but US/Canada?Ridonkulous.I think it's up to 10-15 books for that quoted, but not sure,I haven't got anything shipped from there for a while. You're really close to the boarder to from what I understand, but, those magic invisible lines... It's funny..I got a double Cypress Hill lp sent from rarewaves UK..29 Canadian shipped..I don't know how they do it..but ai love them.Check them out for books or cd music.Really fair prices, free shipping.Just read Punk Rock Blitzkrieg. Okay,I'm going to go read a trade of the Warriors Three...hopefully they are not in New Mexico or whereever the hell Asfard is now. I feel so old and confused..but I'll catch up.

“Silent four” I woke up cranky today and it’s just getting worse! What's worse? I've told you about the silent 4 before I'm certain. But,we've talked a lot over the years,I'm defo not always riveting. I seldom spell out your name, but when speaking I’m always conscious to exclude the four. *True story* Quite often when someone asks for my first name I reply with “Steve, with one S”. This sometimes elicits a giggle or puzzled look, but those people always remember my name going forward. My crankiness is worse. It’s been one of those days. But I realize that as a person of great, great privilege, these annoyances I refer to are nothing in the grand scope of things. p.s. I think we’re supposed to be having “miscellaneous comic discussions” in this thread, so to that end I’ll suggest checking out some of the titles under the DC Black Label imprints. The horror stuff: Low Low Woods, Daphne Byrne, Basketful Of Heads, & a couple more. They’re not yet in trade format that I know of, but I’ve enjoyed all of them. They’re each done as a limited series.

I have to give them the old "c.a.t" cat and "h.e.l.l." the bad place so they'll get it right. Johanna didn't really like this when we first got married so she tried it the first way. After a while she told me I was right and she got sick of people messing it up
