I never imagined some of my Bottom Feeder books would ever be worth much more than I paid for them. I'm always happily shocked when something like this sells:
ASM #15 CGC 0.5
"Copy #2 CGC .5 solid lower grade, front and back shows well for a lower Gd range, but is missing 2 ad pages only 12 and 16, not missing a single story page! Last GPA sale in this grade $300. Board Price $295"
SOLD! Holy spit 😲

That would make a good thread, "Toilets in Comic Books." Did you know that The Brady Bunch had no toilet in their kids' bathroom? Tis true! Yeah, I’d read that in a Brady book. I don’t recall if Alice had her own bathroom, but I remember there was one in that “attic” bedroom that Greg occupied, and of course the parents had a bathroom. Not sure when the networks started allowing toilets to be shown.

After some research they only showed the tank so LITB does not count! The first sound of a toilet flushing was on All in the Family. And it appears Married With Children may be one of the first shows to really show a toilet

Here's a great one. Single page of the silent issue signed by the writer This one is almost like displaying a page of OA, albeit in color and on cheap paper. This one doesn’t look so bad to me, but I do wonder how it came to be. Where’s the rest of the comic? Did the owner find this single page so impactful or profound that they separated it from the rest of the story? Are the other orphaned pages floating around out there?

That would make a good thread, "Toilets in Comic Books." On the cover or in the comic? I can think of a few inside from naughty comics like The Boys, Transmetropolitan, Hitman, etc. Either or both.

Did some research...

Never saw the show so I can only report what I've read. What show had the first audible fart I weirdly wonder I know it was Blazing Saddles for the movies...

Betty & Veronica #269 cover dated May '78. Can anyone think of an earlier instance of a toilet appearing on a comic book cover? It's only a matter of time before some pervy seller decides to link that comic cover to Betty & Me #16.

These single pages probably deserve their own thread, but for now here's another: " 1976 Comic Book Promo Print Ad for All Star Comics #58, the 1st Appearance of Power Girl. Also features a promo ad for Blackhawk #244, the first Blackhawk comic release after a seven and a half year break.
Measures 6" x 9.25". I have been rescuing vintage advertising of all kinds from comic books from the 1940's through the 1990's where the book was either incomplete, damaged, or invaluable as the comic itself. In most cases I have very carefully trimmed the advertisement to rid the often frayed or discolored edges of the original page. I will note the final dimensions, after trimming, in each listing. I have several hundred and will be listing them as all as time permits. So keep checking to see if any ads of items from your childhood come up! Lots of beautiful art and nostalgia to be found in these old comic book ads!"Comics from that era with this ad intact are plentiful. I really don't get it.
