That's kinda what Rogue looked like back in those days. They didn't sex her up until a little later I know that, but she was an older girl/young woman. This particular drawing makes her look like someone's mom. Maybe it's just me... For me it's the white streak in her hair and the length of her hair that makes me think "mom".

Doesn't the crowd in front look like several of the JLA in their civilian identities? I thought the same thing when I saw the military woman there. Then I thought the guy in the middle with glasses looked like Clark Kent. From L to R? Barry Allen, John Jones, Clark Kent, Bruce Wayne, Diana Prince, and Hal Jordan. I checked the GCD, seems like it could be the case. Does anyone own this issue? It's too bad the art in JLA is so lousy. "The JLAers each face their evil doppelgangers and are then blamed for their lawless actions and exiled from Earth. When they return to fight their duplicates,..." SA Superman was such a pushover. Earth is lucky he didn't have an attitude.

Maybe someone should ask skypinkblu for some details about the story?

Psh, Julie was totally hot. Also, I want a cow-udder soap or shaving foam dispenser badly. A different product should come out of each teat. That is pretty cool, have to admit

I speculate that she was supposed to be an older woman when first introduced and in her early appearances.

What does Blue Beetle think he's going to do against tanks with a rifle?

What does Blue Beetle think he's going to do against tanks with a rifle? Maybe he has special armor-piecing, cyanide-gas-releasing bullets. I'm confused by the colors. Blue, Green and Pink snow with Yellow sky...I think the Beetle just tuned-in, turned-on and dropped-out.

I was thinking maybe Blue Beetle was just coming over the hill and was surprised by the tanks. Not sure why he doesn't have ski poles or something similar to help propel him forward.
Ditch's explanation as to the color of the snow makes the most sense unless Beetle's in Candyland and this is where the ice for snowcones comes from.

Wonder Woman #101 This scene appears to take place underwater (the shark, the air bubbles, the "Undersea Trap" title), but are we to believe the plane and pilot are underwater?

That would probably be part of the "Undersea Trap", I am assuming.

Silver age covers weren't concerned with reality

He looks a little concerned that WW may break the glass in her struggle with the shark. I don't think he's the smart sort of pilot.
