I'm a nazi about cigarette smoking. Total nazi. Just sends me straight up the wall. Cigars, pipes, no problem. Cigarettes? I have a hard time not grabbing it and stabbing the smoker in the eyes with it, lit end first. Extreme but effective...  |

When I worked retail and would go outside, once and a while someone I didn't know would say "those things will kill you". I would reply "so will talking to strangers". |

I don't make passive/aggressive comments to smokers. I tell them, to their faces, to put it out. They have a choice about where they can smoke. I don't have a choice about where I can breathe. I've rarely met people so blindingly oblivious, or so casually arrogant, as people who don't understand that cigarette smoke is SMOKE, and it obeys the laws of physics just like everything else. It doesn't stay confined to an area...it does what all smoke does. I don't care...truly...if smokers want to pollute their own bodies. Your choice, 100%. I'm hardly one to talk about mistreating one's body, fatass that I am. But don't force me to deal with it by doing it in a public space, where I have to make an effort to avoid it, if that's even possible. |

How many fights did that start? If the answer is none then that's because you live in CA. You wouldn't do that in NYC  Is it illegal to smoke outside in CA? I think smokers should go outside too. Dissipates?  Is it illegal to smoke outside in CA? |
