Is that prophylactic dipping of cigars into scotch or do you bite your nails? The scotch isn't really part of the remedy, it's about the tobacco poisoning the parasites. But I do enjoy a good scotch and I like taste of those particular cigars. I quit smoking three years ago, and I quit biting my nails over 30 years ago. |

Well done on quitting the smokes! It can be tough... Thanks, I think the constant urge have a cigarette is starting to ease up. I'm not sure if I could have done it without the vapor technology. I bought a vaping rig and put the cigs down. I used the that until I got frustrated with changing the coil and put that down too. If I can transition to edibles, I won't inhale anything. |

If I can transition to edibles, I won't inhale anything. I did take a few draws on a cigar last week, but that has in no way inched me back to maintaining a steady habit of cigarettes. I have a scotch and cigar maybe a half dozen times a year, and only light a cigar to have a few pulls fewer than that. BTW, George Burns lived to be 100 years old and claimed to have smoked a cigar every day of his life. |

I quit cigs 4 years to the day 04/04/13
Cravings were gone within a month or so, dreamt about it for a couple of years, and now I can hang around while other people smoke their brains out and not feel the need to have one.
Would love to smoke a stogie here and there, but scared it will kick the craving into gear again. The one and only thing I've ever been addicted to in my entire life, and I've done my fair share of illegals and pharms in my lifetime.

I'm a nazi about cigarette smoking. Total nazi. Just sends me straight up the wall.
Cigars, pipes, no problem.
Cigarettes? I have a hard time not grabbing it and stabbing the smoker in the eyes with it, lit end first.
