Warmer today. No jumper required. Maybe tonight, when it's cooler, I might choose the Batman jumper... Or maybe the Star Wars {Spoiler} Just kidding! I don't have a Star Wars Jumper

That's a word that most U.S. folks won't understand. If you go into a mall here and ask someone where to get some "trainers". You'll get a lot of blank looks. I think " rucksack" is another term that confounds Americans as that's pretty much a word only used in the military. Sweater = Jumper? I only know what "jumper" is because I used to work in clothing retail and we served a good deal of UK and European customers. Otherwise...

Yup. In the States, a jumper is... Isn't that actually a "jumpsuit"? A jumper is a dress. I think they are also called pinafores. A jumpSUIT has long pant legs. A romper has short pant legs.

Sorry, the crazy smiley was to imply I wasn't really serious. I thought i was being silly furthering the comments regarding women's apparel in a weather thread populated by a bunch of rugged he-men. I've never heard a dress referred to as a jumper, though.

Keeping things on topic, that second lady needs a jumper tonight. It's bloody cold for this time of year!
