80 is hot to me. Heck, 75 is warm to me. Today, it got to 84 & the house was open wide, where I would have preferred the doors shut & the AC on all day.
NC was not meant to be my place of living. NYC wasn't so bad - the summer was much shorter & I loved the autumn/winter/springs. I got my first "thundersnow" in NYC. I always wanted to see it thunder & lightning while snowing, and I got my wish back in 2012 (I think?) when we got 24+ inches of snow one storm. It was awesome. I was out walking around & got to see the lightning and hear the thunder, all while it was snowing hard as hell.
Good times.

I used to ask that very question when I was a kid I'll tell you what my mother used to say... There isn't one. It's just a name.

When you live in areas where it's a lot more common to get snows like that, it gets old real fast. When you have to shovel/remove it, go to work in it, drive in it, etc, it sucks ass. The only people who should enjoy snow are kids, snow sports fans, and those that never have to remove it or drive in it. If you don't fall into one of those categories, then I question your sanity

I hate extreme heat and humidity. Absolutely hate it but I've also come to hate heavy snowfall as well.
Ireland is looking better every day

I was genetically made to live in a bog. Drinking whiskey all day.
"Well hello, day-whiskey!"

I wanna immigrate to Hawaii. The only thing I don't like about that place is the sun sets at 6pm. That is so freaking early compared to what I am used to. That's winter time, all the time
