I've been a comics fan since... forever. Started with newspaper comic strips.
Mad Pocket books and Peanuts collection kept me going.
Found color comics and comic shops
Worked comics retail.
Participated in the Direct Market Black & White Comics Boom and Bust in the 1980s.
Been involved in the Comic Con scene in the Twin Cities since the late 1980s.
If you like comics that's enough for me. I am not particular if you read em, trade em, collect em, make em, or slab em, just don't screw people over.
I'm old enough to remember counterfeit copies of Cerebus #1 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 being passed off to collectors.
So, enjoy your comics and don't screw over people who like their comics.
