You should try cycling up that I could do it. My first gear is pretty low. Go on then... and with video evidence, please

These isolation measures are being brought in to "flatten the curve" i.e. reduce the overall infections and ultimately deaths. That curve potentially spans months. You may be required to isolate for many weeks!

Yup. So little is known about this virus that much of what the experts are telling us is just speculation. We may ALL be self-quarantining for much longer. The curve-flattening is mainly for capacity issues (hospital beds, ventilators, etc.) to avoid triage. And all of this is at a HUGE cost to the global economy. So when this virus eventually becomes manageable, we may be facing some real nasty unemployment and bail-outs. I feel sorry for the small businesses, as many of them won't be able to survive the closure.

People hopefully won't make decisions based on their economic situation that'll adversely affect theirs or other's health in the meantime. I guess there's going to be a lot to worry about as the days go on.

On Tuesday I cycled the Los Gatos Creek Trail and got a flat. I fixed the flat and did about 30 miles of surface streets on Wednesday. Thursday I did the trail again and got another effing flat.

Saturday Morning I get up early for a ride and my tire is flat again (it's a new puncture). So far, no more new flats since then, but I've avoided the trails.

Bats recently got a bike and biking was on my list of goals for 2020. I’m using the pandemic as an excuse to put it off, but you guys are providing encouragement just by keeping bicycling in my sights.

Some of the best butt and leg exercise around, coupled with either scenery or running errands.
