Except for the silent group of people who agree with the posts, message me to tell me they agree or just read silently in approval. If there's one thing everyone needs to understand by now, it's that what you see on social media is NOT always representative of real life and so just because nobody is commenting does not mean nobody agrees. I've already proven that on the CGC forum in the Moderation Action Discussion policy thread a year ago when I literally posted DOZENS of quotes from supporters. Well since no one here cares about your hundreds of covax posts or replies to them, maybe you could just start PMing the silent group of apocryphal people that 'agree with you' that stuff and spare the rest of us. You dont want to be the guy at the party people keep escaping from. Like that peanut guy on Seinfeld- Incredible. So when the Climate Change wars were happening and you were accusing Mike of censoring the discussion and complaining that Mike cut you out of the Climate Change discussion and railed against censorship that was not OK. But now you're asking me to censor myself because you can't ignore me. 2 problems with the 'dozens of supporters' claim-I recall 2 tepid 'supporters', not 'dozens', and its irrelevant if someone supported you for one thing years ago, that does not equate that they support you on another thing, now. I'd need to see proof of this. If you are unable or unwilling to do that, dont even bring it up. Anyone can claim anything about their shadowy 'supporters'.  Now you sound like Meta and Logan510. Your logic is breaking down. You were talking about my constant posts on Covid and the vaccine mandates. We had 21 people in a PM thread who more or less agreed (give or take a couple of people) that the Covid pandemic was overdone by politicians and the vaccine mandates were unethical. Plus I had many other PMS from various friends sending me messages of support. I posted those messages of support with the user names removed in the Moderation Action Discussion thread for all to see. I didn't even bother posting messages from the 21 people. So there were probably 30 people who agreed with me. Those same people probably were also the 47% who voted that Mike is biased and a terrible moderator, so there's yet ANOTHER supporting tidbit of info.  And some of those supporters even posted in the Moderation Action Discussion thread.  So you're either going to have to accuse me of making those messages all up out of thin air or admit they were real. Either way, I genuinely don't care. |

If you have some info that overturns scientists in Germany who have directly linked vaccines to cardiac arrest, or if any other things I'm rambling about are wrong I am totally and genuinely down to accept that I was wrong. I always have been.  But it's not going to happen if you keep contradicting your own beliefs. |

I just think you have too much pride and care too much about what other people think and it clouds your judgement. Fair enough. I do have my foibles. I'll go so far to say that I actually like you. I genuinely do. But if someone is going to debate a point with me they need to have their Is dotted and their Ts crossing. But we have the best discussions and I always learn the most from those discussions. I'll also openly admit I realize my approach discussing is heavy handed regarding Covid-19 measures but I feel extraordinary counter measures are ia necessary reaction to the government overreach, illegal mandates and horrific things that were done to the people against their will over the 2020-2023 era. I mean, let's face it Kav, some people would go TOTALLY POSTAL if their kids were harmed by these measures like many of our kids were harmed. I'm not going POSTAL. I think I'm pretty level headed about it. I may be repetitive and over bearing but if people don't want to hear it, use the ignore feature. It solves everything neatly. Just a few years ago the Prime Minister of Canada used to walk around with a couple of armed guards. Now he has a huge black car detail with dozens of cops surrounding him at all times...and his wife left him. What do you think changed from 2020 to 2023?  |

The challenging part is my liberal friend is a lawyer. In other words, he has been trained to argue. And he's very smart. One trick of attorneys is to attack the meaning of words. Its used in court all the time and especially in appeals. The legal meaning of 'resident' for example can require hours of study of case law. He's won cases by challenging the meaning of a word successfully. |
