CRT isn't academia.

Could you expand on this?
It's not educational. The goal of CRT is to add opinion to history.

Thank you for adding this clarification. But isn't education, and history, opinions/alleged facts in competition with one another? Doesn't this competitive battle define both? Little Big Horn from multiple perspectives for instance.

More specifically, to replace history with opinion.

More specifically, to replace history with opinion. "History" IS opinion. Anyone who doesn't know this doesn't know what history is.

An opinion is only in competition with education and/or history when it's wrong. For example, to say that the Revolutionary War was fought to preserve slavery would be false, as there isn't any history to support that as a tenet for the American Revolution.

As inexact a science as is science, so much vastly more so what we call the fiction of history. And the more careful the fiction - the more subtle and pleasing to the majority, particularly the majority of the powerful - the more commonly accepted this fiction tends to be. The reconsideration of "history" from differing perspectives has great value to all, and in a vast number of ways.

I think what we are learning through the pandemic and all of our entanglement and discussion is that there are germane "facts" but that those "facts" are colored a LOT by opinion. Each "fact checker" leans in the direction of their own bias. Dr. Google and his Clown Gang lean in the direction of authoritarianism and tyranny. Those opposed to authoritarianism and tyranny lean away from it. The truth is somewhere in between and the finally trajectory is determined by how much influence they can exert on truths, or history, or "facts". You know...facts like the efficacy and safety of the shots, how well masks work and whether Gain of Function is actually Gain of Function. Or whether an art teacher can show a pic of Muhammed with plenty of prior warning for anyone that may be sensitive to it.

You just like to make s**t up to believe in. "...fiction of history." You would have to have only 2 brain cells to rub together in order to truly believe this.

Thank you for helping Zod make his point, JCJ. The Holocaust is the Holocaust. The body of "history" regarding the Holocaust, including denial thereof, constitutes history. Thanks again for helping me clarify.

Zod is of course shocked to see that you (and everyone else who stood up for academic arsonist Prater) failed to put your money where your mouth is to help children in need. What is your stance on academic freedom and teaching CRT?

Your irrelevant personal attacks aside... You've left Zod nothing to reply to.
