Hollywood doesnt even make a minimal effort. if they are doing a movie about something do they ever ask people that do that something things? The answer is no.
"Hey coast guard guy do you yell oo rah?"
"Nope'
"Doctors do you dig out bullets?"
"Nope"
etc

In movies if a helicopter is machine gunning you just run straight ahead-the bullets will not be able to catch up to you. When you finally down the chopper with a hand gun the tail rotor will spin at your face but don't worry-it will stop just before it hits you.

Hollywood-a small tactical nuke will not split in two an asteroid the size of Texas. Not even close. That is equivalent to drilling  in the Umpire State Building, inserting a firecracker, and expecting it to split the building in two. Japan was hit with 2 much larger nukes and it did not split in two and it is much smaller than Texas. Ok Kav but they DRILLED UNDERGROUND. We have plenty of underground nuclear tests and nothing gets split in two. Why do you just script stuff at random? THE ASTEROID IS THE SIZE OF TEXAS!! Why? An asteroid 10 miles wide will be sufficient to snuff out the Earth. Armageddon. |

I HATE it when movies have dialogue not appropriate to the time period. movies set in the 1950s where black girls say 'girl-', 'stop playin' etc-

Remember the titans-set in 1971-depicts angry whites protesting segregation. WTF that did not happen. Hollywood if you want to make a movie abt that set it in the 1950s where it belongs. I went to middle and HS in 1971-1976 and nope-not even close. No one had any problem with blacks. And why were ppl in the movie dressed like the 1950s? Rules for movies:
1. It's easy to start a car by just pulling apart some wires with your bare hands and rubbing them together.
2. In a shoot out in a hotel or neighborhood, no one ever calls the cops. These things can go on for like 10 minutes without any police response.
3. A grenade will only kill someone when the plot requires it-otherwise it just knocks them back.
4. Whenever someone is stalked by killers and comes home to see the door jimmied open, they will enter and shout 'Is anybody there?'
5. Whenever a cop finds a suspect, instead of walking up to him and sticking a gun in his ribs, he will stand 30 feet away and shout 'Halt! Police!' giving the guy the ability to simply run away.
6. A bad guy in a hotel room will always be with a hooker.
7. Vegas is still controlled by the mob in movies
8. In movies elevators have a hatch door at the top.

Ppl in movies get knocked out constantly but never a concussion or memory loss. Like bullets, they can just shrug it off.
