They'll effectively be a branch of the government at that point, and be subject to the laws of the government. The same principle from your UnHerd video on the guys suing the US government for collusion with Silicon Valley media. Government + corporations = Nazism.

The pendulum continues to swing to the far right in many if not most places. Alberta, Canada's version of Texas has elected a new leader - Danielle Smith and she openly states she won't be seeking any permission from the Feds to be "prosperous and free" To give you an idea of what is happening in Canada, this is a post from Danielle Smith's Twitter. The mid West is unifying against the federal government. The Premiere of Saskatchewan has now made a statement.

This is big news. There is an inquiry into the use of the Emergency (War) Measures Act in Canada to remove the Freedom Convoy. Fifth Of Cabinet Will TestifyA fifth of the federal cabinet will testify at the Freedom Convoy inquiry, investigators said yesterday. Eight of 39 cabinet members will be cross-examined under oath on why they invoked the Emergencies Act against protesters outside Parliament. “The Commission is about to embark on the public phase of the process of finding answers,” Justice Paul Rouleau, head of the inquiry, said in a statement. “This critical phase will shed light on the events that led to the declaration of the public order emergency and fully explore the reasons advanced for the declaration.” Proceedings will be livestreamed by video on the website of the Public Order Emergency Commission, the formal title of the convoy inquiry. Hearings open Thursday at 9:30 am Eastern and will continue for six weeks. The eight cabinet members named as witnesses are Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Transport Minister Omar Alghabra, Defence Minister Anita Anand, Emergency Preparedness Minister Bill Blair, Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland, Attorney General David Lametti, Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc and Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino. RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki and Deputy Commissioner Michael Duheme will testify as well as John Ossowski, former president of the Canada Border Services Agency. The mayors of Ottawa, Windsor and Coutts, Alta. will also appear as witnesses. The Commission did not fix a schedule of appearances. Also appearing are Freedom Convoy organizers subsequently charged with mischief and managers with the Ottawa Police Service and Ontario Provincial Police. The list of 65 witnesses includes deputy ministers and other executives with the Departments of Finance, Foreign Affairs, Justice, Public Safety, Transportation and the Privy Council Office. “During the six weeks of factual hearings the Commission intends to call more than 50 witnesses including protest participants, representatives of law enforcement, officials from federal, provincial and municipal governments as well as individuals, businesses and organizations impacted by the protests,” wrote Justice Rouleau. “The Commission also intends to call federal cabinet ministers to explore the reasons the government deemed it appropriate to invoke the Emergencies Act.” The judicial inquiry is a legal requirement under the the Act. Perrin Beatty, 72, a former solicitor general who wrote the Act in 1988, earlier said the point of the inquiry was to determine if use of the law was necessary, not expedient. “Emergencies legislation is designed to be legislation of last resort,” Beatty testified March 29 at parliamentary committee hearings. “It’s explicit on that. It is designed to be used when there is no other legal authority available.” “The issue is not whether it helped the police but whether the powers they already had could have resolved the problem,” said Beatty. “The concern is necessity, not efficiency.”

I remember when the Trucker protest 1st started the CBC, a NATIONAL government funded news site reported that the Russians may be behind the trucker protest. Well, it turns out it was not only false they have egg on their face for it. Russia Innuendo Was OffsideA CBC News claim that falsely suggested Russia was behind Freedom Convoy protests should have “been caught before broadcast,” says the network’s ombudsman. The claim by CBC announcer Nil Koksal was unattributed and made without evidence.
“There was no concrete evidence,” wrote Ombudsman Jack Nagler. “I am disappointed it took others to point out to CBC the question was ‘off,’” he added. “It should have been caught before broadcast,” wrote Nagler. “I am also disappointed that programmers were not more sensitive in advance to the perils of speculation on subjects such as the convoy or Russian interference in Canadian affairs.” Announcer Koksal made the claim in a January 28 broadcast of the CBC cable news program Power & Politics. Koksal was interviewing Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino at the time. “We have heard references to potential outside actors,” said Koksal. “Who could these outside actors be? Where might they be from?” “I do ask that because, you know, given Canada’s support of Ukraine in this current crisis with Russia, I don’t know if it’s farfetched to ask, but there is concern that Russian actors could be continuing to fuel things as this protest grows or perhaps even instigating it from the outside,” said Koksal. Minister Mendicino did not address the claim. Ombudsman Nagler said viewers could only conclude Russian interference in the Freedom Convoy was a legitimate concern. “This was not a question about whether there were concerns about Russia but a declaration that such concerns existed,” said Nagler. No member of cabinet nor any law enforcement agency suggested Russian agents were involved in the protests. The Crown broadcaster said Koksal’s claim was based on a single reference in a January 28 CBC website story headlined: “Large Number Of Donations To Support Convoy Came From Aliases, Unnamed Donors.” The story in the 26th paragraph quoted a geography professor from Portland State University who said: “Anonymity could be used to mask interference in a political debate by extremists or foreign state actors.” The professor did not mention Russia or the Freedom Convoy by name. Chris Carter, managing editor of the CBC Parliament Hill Bureau, said the Koksal interview was poorly worded. “We should have included a direct attribution to a specific expert or security entity when framing that question,” said Carter. “I agree the question needed more context to make that clear,” said Carter, adding: “It was not the intention of CBC News to suggest the protesters were Russian actors or agents or that all of the concerns of protesters were illegitimate.” The CBC said it received numerous complaints about the broadcast. It did not disclose the number. The Ombudsman quoted one unidentified complainant who called the broadcast “a loaded question” and “an effort by the CBC to misrepresent the protest.” Another viewer wrote: “This is the realm of conspiracy theories. It isn’t reporting facts. The question was not based on any shred of evidence that suggests foreign interference.”

Just so you all aware, I'm going to be posting updates on the 6 week long inquiry into Trudeau's use of the Emergency (War) Measures act.
This is big news. So far, it looks like Trudeau's use was entirely political and unjustified.
You Americans may not care, but this is big news up here and worth paying attention to.

In the ESG thread I posted a link to a YouTube video with Jordan Peterson talking about how Deloitte. who along with other Globalists is damaging society and the world.
The reason I'm talking about it in this thread about Canada is because Deloitte seems to be a central force of what's happening in EVERY country, including Canada.
A little background on Deloitte that I gleaned from that video I just mentioned:
Deloitte is the largest professional service network in the world
Is one of the big 4 World global accounting companies.
Employs 1/3 million professionals, and 3rd largest privately owned company in the US
Is a behemoth that focuses primarily on profit centered business dealings over any other ideology.

Why is this relevant?
Well, if you go back to the Canadian trucker convoy in Ottawa the chief of Police at the time of the convoy was an ex Deloitte employee.
Why is that significant?
I'll explain.

Peter Sloly was placed as Chief of police in Ottawa the month before the pandemic outbreak in China hired in OCt 2019.
He resigned (again) in Feb 15th, 2022 DURING the peaceful Trucker Convoy protest in Canada, 2 days after Trudeau instituted the Emergency (War) Measures Act.
Why is this significant?

Back to the public inquiry into the Trucker Protest in Ottawa....Ontario's version of the "State Police" is the Ontario Provincial Police or, affectionately known as OPP Why OPP’s Upcoming Testimony at the Emergencies Act Inquiry Could Be Very Revealing
In his opening statement at the public inquiry into the feds’ use of the Emergencies Act last week, the lawyer representing the Ontario Provincial Police said the OPP didn’t need an emergency declaration to clear the convoy protests.
Two of the highest-profile convoy protest sites were in the OPP’s province of operation: Ottawa, ground zero of the protests, and the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor, arguably the costliest of all blockades due to the high volume of goods traded between Canada and the United States over the bridge each day. While the Ottawa Police Service is the police force of jurisdiction is the nation’s capital, OPP counsel Christopher Diana noted on the opening day of the inquiry on Oct. 13 that the provincial police force played a “leadership role” coordinating resources from different police forces to respond to convoy protest in the city. He also credited the OPP with taking on a “leadership role” in working with the Windsor Police Service and other police forces to clear the Ambassador Bridge blockade, saying it was a “success story.” The third high-profile blockade during the convoy protests in February was that in Coutts, Alberta, where protesters set up barriers with heavy vehicles for over two weeks. The site was voluntarily cleared in mid-February by organizers who wanted to distance themselves from individuals arrested at the site on charges of gun possession and having a willingness to use force against police. A lawyer representing the Alberta government told the inquiry on its opening day that the province was able to clear protests without using any of the powers made available under the Emergencies Act.

If you guys remember, I've stated numerous times that the Canadian Broadcasting Company, or CBC is a government patsy organization. They receive million$ in government funding to stay financially solvent. In Feb of 2022 when the trucker protests started, CBC stated that the trucker convoy looked to be work of "The Russians" CBC Interview Alluding to Russian Involvement in Trucker Protests Breached Journalistic Standards: OmbudsmanThe CBC’s ombudsman has found that the national broadcaster breached its journalistic standards and practices (JSP) during an interview on its Power & Politics program in January.
Ombudsman Jack Nagler said questions in the interview that alluded to Russian involvement in the trucker protests were out of context, and the ideas and language surrounding the questions were “too bold.” He said there should have been evidence backing the claim and advised CBC programmers to be “aware of the impact of [their] work.”
---------------------------------------
“At face value this appears that it is an effort by the CBC to misrepresent the protest, the people representing or attending the process, or otherwise try and manipulate the natural public discourse around this issue,” he wrote
“This is astonishing behaviour, since this protest is in relation to existing public policy. It is not in the scope of the CBC’s mandate on journalism to try and steer the outcomes of that discussion on policy to something which would be acceptable and aligned with the CBC’s own political views.”

He resigned ( again) in Feb 15th, 2022 DURING the peaceful Trucker Convoy protest in Canada, 2 days after Trudeau instituted the Emergency (War) Measures Act. Why is this significant? Peter Sloly was Deputy Chief of Police in Toronto when he resigned after 28 years in service (there was a controversy before his resignation). He also spent time doing military work in Europe and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. He worked as consultant and security for one of world's LARGEST accounting and personnel service firms in the world, Deloitte. Why is this significant? -------------------------------------- Let's see if everyone is paying attention. I'll put it in crayon for you * Deloitte, Pfizer and the WEF are all partners in a global socio - economic agenda. Of this there is no doubt. * Deloitte, one of the world's LARGEST accounting and personnel companies in the world, which is called one of the global "Big Four" and is the 3rd largest privately owned company in the US * who has extensive ties to Pfizer (as illustrated in the ESG thread) * who has a 'special forces' type officer as an employee for 3.5 years * this officer moves into the role of "Chief of Police" in the Federal Capital city of Canada just a month before the pandemic (is responsible for freezing the funding that crippled the peaceful Trucker convoy protest in Ottawa opposing vaccine mandates) and then quits the day after the Prime Minister institutes the War Measures Act to stop the convoy. Are these dots too far apart of anyone to connect? Asking for a friend. How about if we add THIS dot to the picture? Deloitte hired to track Canada’s COVID-19 vaccination effortsThe federal government has awarded a $16-million contract to accounting firm Deloitte to “manage vaccine rollout, administration and reporting,” even as hundreds of thousands of doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have already been administered. Now. Does anyone see a picture forming OR DO YOU NEED A SCIENTIST TO SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU? Are you frucking paying attention yet? Asking for the same friend.

So the company that is partnered with Pfizer, who trained and employed the officer in the capital city of Canada DURING THE PANDEMIC AND WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR DEALING WITH THE PROTEST AGAINST VACCINE MANDATES is the same company that was hired by Canada to keep track of the vaccination progress.
Guys, seriously?
Can ANYONE say there isn't something fishy going on here?
