Mark Zaid shared this so I thought I'd share it.
VERY interesting discussion on the implications of the case of Julian Assange.

The full video.
The first 14 minutes are introductions and the nitty gritty starts at around the 14 minute mark.
Great stuff!

Assange is being raped and tortured by the USG.
And this is being done in full view of the world to make a point.
Just as kings and the clergy had heretics tortured and burned in public, so too the USG to say "Don't risk doing the right thing."
Or as Trump likes to say - "They're not doing this to me, they're doing it to you."

It's no different than the Lab Leak Theory, the Vaccine Injury discussion, the Social Media censorship campaigns of the last few years, the Hunter Biden laptop suppression and many other things. It's just political manipulation of the truth. What the public sees is very different than what's actually true. The public sees a muddled smoke screen. The video I posted is extremely revealing into how little people understand about what's actually going on with Assange and the discussion is a very frank dialogue between actual players who have true insights into the case and the it's implications.

The video is nothing but the same Deep Swamp smear of Assange as a hacker and non-journalist that we've been seeing for years. It contains nothing revelatory or new - it's the same old power cesspool attempting to justify his rape and torture by the USG as a New Heretic, but here in a sleazy, soft-peddled fashion seeking to sound reasonable.

NY Times editors just as good as their reporters: Somebody does not aim or evade very well, if it was only 4 homes and 2 govt. buildings damaged (and don't give me any of that (HOW DARE YOU!) stuff. A miss is a miss. it is 2022.

I disagree. I found the video enlightening, especially the defense's case details. You only get the curated, government washed version of this most of the time. I thought it was extremely enlightening that John Young, the owner of Cryptome has openly asked to be indicted with Assange as he published the materials BEFORE Assange did and nobody has charged him. This shows some sort of bias towards Assange that you can't show otherwise. Why do they want Assange and not Young? Cryptome Founder Asks to Be Indicted With AssangeThe founder of a U.S.-based website that earlier published the same un-redacted documents that WikiLeaks publisher Julian Assange was later indicted for has invited the U.S. Department of Justice to make him a co-defendant with Assange. “Cryptome published the decrypted unredacted State Department Cables on September 1, 2011 prior to publication of the cables by WikiLeaks,” John Young wrote in a Justice Department submission form, which Young posted on Twitter on Tuesday. “No US official has contacted me about publishing the unredacted cables since cryptome published them,” he wrote. “I respectfully request that the Department of Justice add me as a co-defendant in the prosecution of Mr. Assange under the Espionage Act.”

Good point.
But the purpose of that little video pep rally for the Deep Swamp was to discuss whether Assange should be **merely** beheaded, or crucified, drawn/quartered, burnt at the stake, etc.
And of course the USG only wants to continue raping/torturing Assange - you only need one example of what will happen if you expose the USG's skeletons.
This was never about justice.

This was never about justice. I don't disagree. Justice is rarely about right and wrong anymore, which is the root problem and why society is falling apart. The sub-prime mortgage crisis, Iraq, Snowden, Epstein, et al. What's true and just doesn't matter anymore. All that matters is power. But it's these little wisps of truth, like in that video that get out that take seed in the most innocuous places that change the course of history and the truths need to keep getting out. And the smallest seed can splinter rock over time.

This post is rather comprehensive but to those who love to explore gaslighting, it's a very interesting trip down the rabbit hole. The National Science Federation, a US Government organization has granted $5MIL to Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering, to explore how to combat misinformation and disinformation bdonater of misinformation by helping give people responses to 'tricky questions' This is hilarious. The Government, which has proven to be the largest source of misinformation in each country is going to fund research on how to combat people who might oppose them. This video is a very clear, easy to understand and articulate discussion on the topic. Good God. Hacks/Hackers, Partners Advance to Phase II of National Science Foundation’s Convergence Accelerator
The ARTT Guide software tool presents, for the first time, a unique framework of possible responses for everyday conversations around tricky topics, all informed by online information analysis, to help motivated citizens answer the question: “What do I say (and how do I say it)?”

Here is a great example of gaslighting by one of the USA's 'premier' newspapers. The Washington Post portrays itself as a balanced newspaper. It's banner phrase is " Democracy Dies In Darkness" Many CGC boardies like namisgr have constantly defended the paper from attacks against it's bias. I scanned the last few days of Washington Post Tweets to look for stories about how they were talking about the Twitter files. This is significant because only a small handful of papers were given direct access to the Twitter Files - the New York Post, the Washington Post and the hand selected individual, independent journalists that have been posting the #twitterfilesYou'd think that since the WaPo was handpicked to have full access to the files they'd be posting about them. I'd hoped to find at least ONE reference to the Twitter Files and scanning back to Dec 19. I found none. But scanning their Twitter links I found MANY articles calling out Elon Musk, who he hangs out with, the Jan 6 probe and how bad Trump is. Oh, and how good Biden is. This is their idea of "Democracy Dies In Darkness" By smearing anything opposed to Liberal politics and supporting anything that supports them. Folks, this is the world YOU live in. The news is not the product. YOU are the product. Instead of investigating the innards of Twitter and whether or not the FBI has been influencing US elections, they have links posting about how good the case is against Trump. Unreal.
