All of the threads started by Jaraven7 / Icandothisallday and subsequently locked have been deleted by the mods... hm I had to look for something in the thread and could not find it... I tried following the links from here and they said I could no longer view them. I looked at the date that I posted the points and then went back in comics general to that time period and they are missing from the CG... They have been scrubbed from existence... Perhaps a point adjustment is in order.... or perhaps it is best left alone since like any professional sport once the game has been logged in the books... it is official. |

I don't remember Andy ever adjusting points due to thread changes by Mods. But we never used the link system to make it easy to monitor the thread status, so we may have been unaware of those changes. It's up to you, but I think managing points/thread changes in perpetuity would be a daunting task. Also, just in principle, I'm against Mods deleting/hiding threads because the data is lost to the members forever. If they want some activity to stop, they should either moderate the individuals responsible for that activity, or lock the thread (worst case). I mean, that's Basic Forum Moderation 101. Anyway, totally up to you. I like the idea of an event (such as posting the points) or some period of time from the initial report (6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, etc.) making it official. |

Maybe when they delete a “member”, any created threads also get tossed along with that person’s posts? If only there was a way to test that.  |

I know that a banned member used to have all their posts deleted including posts from anybody who quoted the banned posts. But it's not like that anymore, which is awesome. |
