The Batman part or the other stuff? There is a Chinese Batman Was that Batman Incorporated? I remember reading the first issue and then I lost track of the series. I’m really bad when it comes to following anything Bat-related for some reason.  The Batman part or the other stuff? He's talking about the other stuff.
Do you think it’s too late for me to go back and edit my post to “welcome” him to the forum? I don’t want him to think we’re not a friendly bunch over here. |

So, just as expected the tide is starting to turn slowly now that the election in the US is over. Dave (davidpg) told me about 6 months ago that as soon as the elections are over everything will change and that the pandemic would be over. He was right.
The vaccine was completed just days after Biden was elected (what a co-incidence) Cuomo has decided to reopen NYC after 'talking tough' about staying shut down until a vaccine gets here.
There is a new peer reviewed study about how lockdowns are not as effective as they were hoped to be (Lucky Baru posted these on the CGC chat forum)

All of this political hypocrisy can be summed up with one picture....is there any easy way to post pictures here?

and fuel jumps 21 cents overnight. and natural gas jumps 6% over night. of course it has nothing at all to do with legislative intent of the new congress.
and jan. 3 year property tax assessments jump 12% average in conus. of course it has nothing to do with having to fund depleted coffers, like education expenses, public facility expenses, teacher salaries ( you know....the teachers that didn't work at the school because there was no school ) and stuff like that.
i don't really see a problem, though. it is just adding 2 trillion or so to the debt and we can get that from the 1%, or so i am told.

The only time the teachers didn't actually work at the school around here was a few weeks of March/April when the clampdown started. Since then all of my son's teachers have been in school working like they did before the Covid, working even harder because of the hybrid model  |
