2710 Turned the tables on the Junk Shop last weekend. I brought him three long boxes of moderns, two indies and one DC. He was happy to offer me $150 in store credit, to which I responded - No. He said, then what do you want for them and I said $75 in store credit with a smile on my face. His eyes lit up and he was really appreciative. I've done so well through him that it was a no brainer to undercut myself for a change.  |

Sent out another message to the buyer on this and got a very grateful response. She had thought the package was left outside her apartment door and stolen. He was so grateful and I'm glad to have the extra space. I've probably got another three to give him no problem. Meanwhile, I picked a dozen paperbacks, a big DC deluxe omnibus in a cardboard sleeve and another dozen comics with my store credit. And I've got a heap more store credit still to go! |
