Isn't Elvira sweet?I have a picture of her here someplace of her picking her nose at the first Ottawa Con(well, modern big one-used to have Maple Con waaay back in the eighties) I was too shy to go up and talk to her and not going to line up and pay,but my partner was willing. She told Elvira all about I had all her comics, vhs ect-loved her..so she I guess onbreak tracked us,me down and came over and said hello and I got a kiss on the cheek! Was likely worth it to her to see me blush like a beet

Your story reminds me of when I became tongue-tied trying to tell Tanya Roberts how much I appreciated her early work. I think I grossed her out!

I got to meet and hang out with Linda Hamilton at the NYC Reed Pier show a few years ago. She was having a smoke outside and we had a great chat. I told her how hard I crushed on her back in the day.
She is one TINY human even though she doesn't look it on screen.

Everytime I'm in dollarama and score a fifty dollar HC comic for four bux I think of you-Woogie would LOVE this!I'm not gonna resell, but I could I'm sure. After I read them I'll gift them to the kids in the neighbourhood or family-some are pretty mature works now! Those I'll likely donate to the childrens hospital or hospice I stayed in nearby.Of course I'll keep some too. I think that's quite the rise since I last visited?Any that you're most excited about? Oh,I don't think I've said I hope you and yours have been well either, where are my manners? You seem as happy and positive as always sir woogies journal, always hoppin'

I always try to leave nice feedback with a personal touch. Fortunately I've never had to leave a neg.Anytime I've had an issue I reach out politely and things are worked out. Well, one time an item didn't arrive-ever,a single cassette, who knows what crack it fell in-and the lady got really upset and nasty and started yelling scaaaammmmer but I calmed her, somehow. It was a freaking pink Jem and the Holagrams tape from the 1980's I wanted for my sister, fifteen bucks shipped. It took some soothing to get her to believe I wasn't the greatest evil that crawled from a black hole. Do you have a fun horror story Woogster?

I had a guy that left me a negative because the Golden Age comic art reproductions in a hardcover reprint book were too washed out for him to enjoy! Nothing to do with my listing or description of the book itself, he just wasn't happy with how they reproduced the artwork. So in his mind that warranted a negative, no communication, no request for a refund or return, nada.
I sent him a message and told him to send the book back for a full refund and then refunded his money. He sent the book back and I followed up with him to get the negative removed and he said I was a scammer and had never sent him the refund. I told him that it would be a credit to whatever method of payment was hooked up to his Paypal account (since that's how he paid) and to check it. He did and it was and he removed the negative.
Some people...

Some people... When I started on eBay there was someone that said I overcharged for shipping and left me a negative. Why? I would not meet up with him to do a person to person pickup. I was young, I was in college and he could only meet up during the day when I had class. So he said he understood and told me to ship them. I charge exact shipping. Once he received them he left me a negative because it was 'unfair' that I shipped them. Another guy left me a negative for complaining that he never sent my item out back when sellers could do that. His account was eventually shut down because a lot of people did not receive their items . To this day I still don't have the Lego Seaport.

One of my friends went to the Elks lodge today. I declined... I've been doing house stuff, cleaning and listing things online today.
He said Carbo was there walking the floor but he walked away with a Ghostbusters toy as to not go home empty handed.
Did you find anything?

I ended up not going today after all. I ran some errands and hung out with the wife and dog instead. Is it worth a look tomorrow? Supposed to be a two-day show... This is a quote from my friend: He sent me a pic of Carbo running around as usual as the love child of Captain Jack Sparrow and Steven Tyler of Aerosmith I asked him, "It is any good?" He replied, "Worse than expected except for seeing Skeevin Tyler." I am tempted to go tomorrow as well and see how bad it can be for $10 but I am afraid that I am going to cave and buy nonsense stuff that I don't really need or clutter that I might think I can flip that winds up sitting in a box in a closet for a couple of years.
